Free printable color by number
173 numbered grids as print-ready PDF, A4 or US Letter. Small sheets on purpose — few colours, finished in one sitting, not an all-day project.
What a color by number sheet is
Every square in the grid carries a number, and the key underneath says which colour that number stands for. Fill each square to match and the picture resolves — usually a third of the way in, which is the moment it becomes hard to stop.
The sheets here are deliberately at the small end: at most 24 squares a side, at most sixteen colours. A grid twice that size is a genuinely good piece of art and a genuinely bad evening — most people abandon it half-finished. Short sheets get finished.
Print it
Each sheet downloads as a vector PDF in A4, US Letter, A5 or square, in black and white so any printer handles it, with no watermark and no account. You can try a sheet on screen first to check the grid is the size you want before spending ink on it.
For colouring on screen as the main event rather than as a preview, simplepixelart.com runs the on-screen half of this pair of sites. This one is the print half.
